Participation in a round table within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “EU Sustainable Development Policy: Experience for Ukrainian Cities and Regions in Decentralization” (07.02.2023, online)

On February 7, 2023, National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine joined round table within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “EU Sustainable Development Policy: Experience for Ukrainian Cities and Regions in Decentralization”.

More than 90 participants took part in Zoom, including HEIs staff and employees of the structural units of the State Tax University, winners of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet module projects from different organisations of Ukraine, researchers from EU, stakeholders, local government bodies and public organizations, and students.

NEO – Ukraine Coordinator, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, congratulated the team on success in a tough competition and thanked for their hard work, support of partners during the difficult time of challenges and consequences of martial law in Ukraine. Speaker emphasized the main priorities during the project implementation with a focus on overcoming the challenges and consequences of war; importance of modern and innovative content, methodologies, resources and results, as well as inclusiveness and the use of digital and green technologies.

As a result of the event, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA emphasized the rules of the Programme regarding the implementation of Jean Monnet projects, financial management, issues of integrity, and also presented successful cases of the implementation of Erasmus+ projects during the war in Ukraine.
